#29 Shadow

There are two problems: I don't know where to start by and I don't know if I'll take 100 words just to say that I love everything about this. I'll try.
This is really catchy; the vision and the subject are rather uncommon, and of course the shading is incredible. Everything, every shade has a bit of white and grey and black in it, it gives the piece so much volume...
And this eye is amazing too. Really. It just looks like an actual eye, and it's really hard (at least for some), so I'll die with jealousy and awe now.
Your shades of grey are heavenly, with nothing being constant, and white lines always being there in the midddle of it; and yet, it doesn't look like 300 billion lines, it just looks soft. Even your shades of white have volume in them XD
The way you combine highly (HIGHLY) detailed work with an unfinished, more doodle-like one is also incredible. I really love it when people do that. And I love owls too. So this is not an objective critique XD
